At PCG we provide a wide range of Services, we understand every Facility in this Industry is different, therefore; we can customize these services based on your demands.
PCG offers auditing services as intended for jail administrators and local sheriffs. Jails face the need to structure and professionalize jail/prison operations. It can be used as an effective management tool for evaluating existing operations, setting priorities formulating policy and procedures, and identifying and evaluating deficiencies found at the time of an internal or external audit. PCG can also monitor facility operations continuously to avoid Federal and State Court demands.
PCG will incorporate these classifications in a standardized form or checklist that is used by staff to assess each inmate's custody and programming needs. PCG knows well the classification system which has five components: (1) inmate screening form; (2) initial custody assessment scale; (3) custody reassessment scale; (4) initial inmate needs assessment form, and (5) inmate needs reassessment form.
PCG implements policies, procedures, and guidelines to protect the public and maintain a secure, safe, and orderly living and working environment for inmates and staff. PCG promotes standard management practices for correctional staff in all institutions while recognizing differences among institutions that vary in missions and security levels.
At PCG we understand policy and procedures. A policy manual is defined and designed as a management tool that directs staff behavior by communicating the facility's philosophy and work plan as well as a mechanism for introducing new ideas and concepts to the staff. PCG will implement ways to involve the staff in developing policies and procedures suggested, including formulating structured task forces on administration, support services, security, and programs.
Good facility design derives largely from understanding the needs of those who will use the facility: the people who reside there and the agencies responsible for the inmate in their care. It is not simply a matter of creating a given amount of space or a handsome facade. Rather, good design depends on developing space that is responsive to inmate and staff perceptions and behaviors, to the demands of daily programming, and to the need for safety, security, and positive management.
